What is the process for selling a Rolex?
Call to schedule an appointment or walk into any Bailey’s Fine Jewelry location or Fox & Bailey Watch Shop. We’ll evaluate your Rolex, offer you top dollar, and pay you on the spot. The process couldn’t be any easier.
Do I need an appointment to sell my Rolex?
You can schedule a consultation, but it’s not necessary. Simply walk into the Fox & Bailey Watch Shop in Raleigh or one of the other Bailey’s locations in North Carolina, and we’ll evaluate your timepiece free of charge.
Will I need the original box & papers to sell my Rolex?
No, we will still buy your Rolex but having the original box & papers, often called a full set, will typically increase the value of your watch. “Papers” vary by when the watch was originally purchased, but they can include the watch’s warranty card, manual, receipt, and service history documentation. A box & papers can also be helpful in the authentication process and in assessing the watch’s condition and history.
Do you buy ladies’ Rolex watches?
Yes, we’re happy to evaluate any men’s or women’s Rolex with smaller sizes at 26mm, 31mm, 34mm along with 36mm to 44mm and larger case sizes.
Should I clean or polish my Rolex before selling it?
You should not clean or polish a Rolex before it’s evaluated. The patina on a vintage Rolex can make it highly sought after and cleaning or polishing can reduce the value of the watch.
Will you buy a Rolex that is damaged or broken?
Yes, we will consider any Rolex working or not, in any condition. You don’t need the original box or papers to sell your Rolex.
I don’t live near a Bailey’s. Can I ship my Rolex to you?
Yes, give us a call to discuss your watch and we’ll send you a fully insured FedEx label to ship your watch directly to us free of charge.
Will you take a Rolex as a trade-in?
Yes, you can trade up for your grail watch or trade in to swap out a Rolex or other watch in your collection.
